Calzone

What do you fix when you have two extra kids over for dinner and discover that the hamburger you'd planned to use for tacos has gone bad at the last minute? Calzones! I used some pizza dough I had in the fridge, some jarred pizza sauce, odds and ends of cheeses from the fridge and a variety of veggies along with pepperoni and sausage. About 15 minutes in a 400 degree oven and dinner is served. Not to bad for a last minute dinner on the fly. ;-)

Here are some links to other calzone recipes I'd like to try:

Double Cheese and Prosciutto Calzone from the February 2006 issue of Bon Appetit

Calzone With Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Calzone with Eggplant, Pancetta and Mozzarella
